Life

so i finished reading harry potter and feel disappointed that the journey is now over.
but it makes me wonder for i realized that my sister and cousins all really love the potter series and i thought either we are related and enjoy the same type of books, or i thought that maybe the fact that we all attended boarding school over seas gives us an affinity towards these books because we can identify with the characters a little more as they reflect some of our own struggles and experiences growing up.

i had to edit out a comment i made about wand sizes....it was funny though.

so i just found out that my mom's first cousin is a rather famous artist.
he paints historical scenes about natives and cowboys....except they are gay....and in rather compromising postitions. yeah....that's my relatives.
he is a native himself, and rather loopy, but he is becoming famous.
so there you go.
my family is redefining our nations past...through homo erotic art.
good for us.
his name is kent monkman.
DON'T LOOK HIM UP ON GOOGLE IMAGES....unless you are prepared for some weird stuff.
you have been warned.

is this a proof for the existence of God

so i have no money. and in fact i am in debt about 7 thousand dollars because of school and my car and what not. but anyways, i have cousins who are missionaries and i decided in my heart that i was going to give them 500 dollars to help support them, even though i could really use that money. so i decided this on a friday, and on sunday i received a cheque from my work for my vacation pay, which i didn't even know that i was going to get. and it was in the amount of 590 dollars.  i don't know about you, but it was rather amazing that 2 days after deciding how much i should give away and i received back that same amount with interest.  and if this is not enough proof than hear me out.
1 month before this i looked at my bank account and decided that i could give 200 dollars to my girlfriend who was going on a 3 week missions trip to indonesia with some nurses and doctors up to this little mountain city. so i looked and realized that even though i wanted to give more, that was all i could afford, so i gave her the money. that same weekend that i gave her the money was my birthday weekend, and i received in total for my birthday 225 dollars. so again God gave me back my money with interest. and this would not be so interesting if it were not for the fact that i almost never receive money for my birthday, in fact the most i have ever received before was 50 bucks and that was a few years ago.
i find these circumstances very interesting, intriguing but not surprising since Jesus says about a million times in the bible that he will take care of us if we continue to love him.
so love away...

blu

like jazz...
i have my first real day off today.
i have no homework, no essays, no books i have to read for class.
and laura is gone so i don't even have to go anywhere today.
so i didn't.
i stayed home all day.
i am reading blue like jazz.
what a great book.
READ IT.
it just may change your life, but will certainly, hopefully change your view of what it means to be a christian.
i am thinking of getting married next may too.
